Our Approach

How do we do it?

We treat every child as a unique individual: There is no cookie-cutter approach to working with autistic children. Our team of dedicated behavioral therapy professionals in Dallas will work closely with you to develop a specialized treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique gifts and challenges based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Therapy. We take a comprehensive approach and engage relevant stakeholders — parents, therapists, schools, and others — to design a program to help your child develop the tools and skills they need to flourish in society.

We are a fully integrated treatment team. Our providers are dedicated employees, resulting in a better team for you. We meet regularly internally as a team and with families to ensure there is continuous excellent communications. We also maintain strong working relationships with local schools and industry experts to stay abreast of the latest techniques.

Our team is highly-qualified: At Ayuda, which means help, we thoroughly train and develop our technicians and staff so they can help you better. Our BCBAs work closely with our highly-trained RBTs — who are at the front lines of supporting children and families — and provide them with ongoing coaching, supervision, and mentorship. Before an RBT even begins working with your child, we provide them with rigorous training based on the latest industry best practices. We also conduct FBA, ABA skills, BIP, and educational program evaluations.

Reinforcers are the most valuable tool that therapists, teachers and parents have when teaching our children. Chocolate, ice cream, tickles, money, playing with the dog, getting high fives… the list is just, as rich as individuals preferences and interests are.
